PORTRAITS IN OIL 

   A portrait in oil is a beautiful heirloom that will last for generations. As a portrait painter, Marilou Ruiz has been well served by her knowledge and understanding of the classics and their enduring techniques. Her perspective is imbued by the subject’s own inherent qualities, enabling her to capture the subject’s essence in a manner that is enduring and timeless.   

When a portrait is commissioned, an agreement is prepared as to the number of subjects, size and price. The subject is then photographed.  Whenever possible, the artist and client review these photographs together, and the portrait is painted.  Satisfaction is guaranteed.
